This policy explains what information Strings Network collects when you create a node, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Strings mobile app and this website, operated by Thread Lab LLC.
We collect only what's needed to create your node, run mining sessions, and distribute earnings correctly.

We do not collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or precise location data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.
Your data is stored using enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with end-to-end encryption in transit and at rest. Account authentication is handled via isolated authentication microservices, and sensitive actions — creating your node, processing referrals, and updating balances — are performed by isolated server-side functions rather than directly from the app, so they can be validated before taking effect.
Access to production data is restricted to authorized individuals at Thread Lab LLC who need it to operate the service.
Strings is not directed at children, and node creation requires you to meet the minimum age required in your region. We do not knowingly collect information from children under that age. If we learn that an account belongs to a child, we will take steps to remove the account and associated data.

Each provider processes data under strict privacy terms; we only share what's required for them to perform their function.
We retain your account data for as long as your node is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your profile, mining, and referral data from active systems, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We may update this policy as Strings evolves. If a change is material, we'll let you know in the app before it takes effect. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
